A refreshing tipple that's fab for sipping in the sun. This is ridiculously easy to make but needs a few hours for the flavours to develop (the longer the better really) so make it either the night before or in the morning so that it's ready for the afternoon. Why not beat the heat by whizzing it up with some crushed ice to make a cheat's slush puppy!
INGREDIENTS:
2 1/2 lemons
150g raspberries (frozen is fine)
2 tbsp sugar
800ml boiling water
PRE-CHOPPING:
Slice your lemons in half
KIT LIST:
Jug
METHOD:
Slice your lemons in half and squeeze the juice into your jug. Then pop the lemons in too.
Add your raspberries and sugar then top up with your boiling water.
Give everything a good stir so that the sugar dissolves.
Now leave on the side for an hour to cool down before popping in the fridge for a few hours (the longer the better) for the flavours to steep.
Once done, strain the lemonade through a sieve and and top up with ice or dilute with more water if the flavour is too strong.
Enjoy!
