A classic crumble meets mug cake to create a quick treat for any little hands with a sweet tooth! Bananas and chocolate is always a winning combo in my book, and this is great way to use up any old ones you've got lying around. Simply assemble everything in your favourite mug, pop in the microwave and get ready for a feast.

INGREDIENTS

  • Small handful of chocolate chips / half a dairy milk cut up into chunks

  • 1 banana, sliced

  • Dash of milk

  • 2 tablespoons of plain flour

  • 2 table spoons of cold butter

  • Half a teaspoon of cinnamon

  • Half a teasoon of oats

KIT LIST

  • Mixing bowl

  • Microwave

METHOD

  • Peel the banana and tear it into chunks with your hands.

  • Put the banana, chocolate and a small dash of milk into a microwavable mug

  • Pour the flour and butter into a mixing bowl and start to rub between your fingers until it resembles large breadcrumbs

  • Mix in the cinnamon and oats

  • Pour your flour mix into the mug so it’s on top

  • Microwave on high for 3 minutes

  • Tuck in!
