Baked Apples

I think there's something about baking apples which takes them to the next level. They seem to get sweeter and rich, reminiscent of comforting apple crumbles. These microwaved baked apples, are ready in 2 ticks and are great as a lighter dessert. Serve piping hot, with a healthy dollop of yogurt or ice-cream.

Serves 4

INGREDIENTS:

• 4 apples

• 4 tbsp honey

• 2 tsp cinnamon

• 1 tsp nutmeg

PRE-CHOPPING

• Slice your apple in half and take out the core.
